Portland-based developer SKB has recently acquired land in Oregon’s renowned wine country for the development of a new luxury hotel. The company plans to construct a 95-room hotel in the charming Dundee area, with President Todd Gooding stating that their aim is to create a destination that embodies the collaborative spirit and natural beauty of Oregon’s wine region.
The three-acre site, situated amidst picturesque vineyards and wineries, offers convenient access to Willamette Valley’s esteemed winemakers. The upcoming hotel will boast 95 well-appointed rooms including casitas, courtyard gardens, private tasting room and meeting spaces as well as a rooftop deck. Additionally, there will be an adjacent 10,000 square feet available for food and beverage tenants. SKB has joined forces with Embarcadero Hospitality Group (EHG) on this project.
“We are delighted to partner with SKB in delivering an exceptional hospitality experience that matches the caliber of Dundee’s world-class wines,” said Sondra Storm from EHG about this collaboration. She also added that it is perfect timing as Dundee is undergoing rapid transformation while also witnessing an expansion in demand for Oregon wines. Furthermore, the design of the hotel has been tailored specifically to make full use of its prime location within this thriving market.”
