Skanska has announced that Ayat, a Palestinian bistro operated by the Anani Hospitality Group, will be opening its first Washington, D.C. location at 2112 Penn in downtown.
The new restaurant will occupy 3,500 square feet of ground-floor retail space and will offer lunch and dinner service daily. This expansion is part of a broader growth strategy for Ayat, which also includes upcoming locations in New York’s Upper West Side, Philadelphia, and Dallas.

2112 Penn, delivered in 2018, features 230,000 square feet of office space and nearly 10,000 square feet of ground-floor retail. It is centrally positioned near the Foggy Bottom Metro station and surrounded by parks, dining options, and cultural destinations. Current retail tenants at the property include North Italia.
