"Skanska Sells Newly Constructed L.A. Offices for $71M"

Skanska, a leading development company, has recently sold 9000 Wilshire in Beverly Hills for $71 million to a European-based company. This project was completed earlier this year and marks Skanska USA Commercial Development’s first venture in the Los Angeles region.

The undisclosed buyer will take immediate possession of the four-story office building which features a rooftop terrace and four levels of underground parking. With approximately 49,500 square feet available for lease, this development has already achieved WiredScore Platinum and two-star Fitwel certification. Once certified as LEED Platinum, it will be the first new office building in Beverly Hills with this distinction.

According to reports from the Los Angeles Business Journal, Skanska is also working on two other office developments in LA: 8633 Wilshire – an approximately 43,900-square-foot three-story building located in Beverly Hills – and another commercial project at 1811 Sacramento St., situated within downtown’s Arts District.

This recent sale by Skanska highlights their continued success as they expand their presence within California’s competitive real estate market.
