Skanska Secures $66 Million MassDOT Contracts

Skanska, a leading construction and development company, has recently been awarded two design-build contracts by the Massachusetts Department of Transportation. These contracts have a combined value of $66 million and involve the reconstruction of the Route 3 Bridge over Franklin Street in Duxbury and replacement of eight bridge decks across six locations in various towns.

The first project focuses on reconstructing the existing northbound bridge, constructing a new northbound bridge within the current median, and rebuilding the southbound bridge. Both projects commenced in September 2023 with an expected completion date set for December 2026.

This significant achievement further solidifies Skanska’s expertise in delivering high-quality infrastructure projects that meet strict timelines while adhering to industry standards.
