Skanska Awarded $91M Contract to Build New Pacific Middle School in Des Moines, WA
Skanska has secured a $91 million contract with Highline Public Schools to lead the Pacific Middle School Replacement Project in Des Moines, Washington.
The project involves constructing a new three-story, 132,800-square-foot facility that will accommodate up to 950 students in grades six through eight. The modernized building will feature approximately 40 classrooms, administrative offices, and instructional support spaces, replacing the existing Pacific Middle School structures.
Construction began in July 2025 and is projected to be completed by February 2027. The project aims to enhance learning environments and meet the growing educational needs of the community.
