"Skanska Establishes Mid-Atlantic Region to Target Key Markets"

Skanska, a leading construction company, has recently established a new Mid-Atlantic Region to enhance its building operations in four crucial markets: Washington D.C., Maryland, Virginia and North Carolina.

Mark Balling, the current executive vice president and general manager for Skanska USA’s building operations in North Carolina and Virginia, will now also lead the Rockville office as part of this new region.

According to Balling, combining their experience and expertise within this larger region will allow Skanska to better serve previously separate areas while also taking advantage of potential opportunities for growth. This move is seen as a strategic decision that reflects their strong commitment to these thriving markets. Clay Haden, President & CEO of Skanska USA Building stated that this integration highlights their strengths and positions them for even greater success in the future.
