Skanska has reached the top of Kaye, a 31-story multi-family tower located on Fourth Ave in Seattle’s Belltown neighborhood. The project, which is being both built and developed by Skanska, will offer 260,619 square feet of space and include 6,100 square feet of communal areas for residents as well as ground-floor retail.
Construction on Kaye began in Winter 2023 and is expected to be completed by 2025. “We are thrilled to be one step closer to delivering this exceptional building to the Seattle community,” said Lew Guerrette, executive vice president and general manager for Skanska USA Building.
Kaye will consist of a total of 324 units with ten larger three-bedroom family units available. As part of the Housing Affordability and Livability Agenda (HALA) program, it will also contribute an estimated $4.5 million towards affordable housing in the city.
This development marks Skanska’s second multi-family project in the region after successfully completing their Alley111 project in Bellevue – a mixed-use building with retail space totaling over six thousand square feet. With seven projects now under their belt since entering into development operations back in2011,the company continues its strong presence within Puget Sound’s real estate market.
