Oakland-based single-family rental investment platforms, Roofstock and Mynd, have announced their merger to create a comprehensive platform for the growth of the SFR asset class. This partnership offers real estate investors access to a technology-driven platform with valuable data insights and a specialized property management system designed specifically for SFR properties.
According to the terms of this agreement, Mynd will merge into Roofstock’s corporate entity while maintaining its property management operations under its own brand. Gary Beasley, co-founder and CEO of Roofstock, will continue in his role as CEO while Doug Brien, co-founder and CEO of Mynd, will take on the position of president at Roofstock.
“This merger allows us to combine our strengths into one powerful platform that can provide even greater value for our clients,” said Beasley. “Doug and I share a common vision for utilizing technology and data analysis in investing and managing SFR properties which positions Roofstock as an unparalleled end-to-end solution.”
