Simon is set to launch a long-planned, multimillion dollar redevelopment at Brea Mall, as reported by What Now Orange County. The multi-year project involves demolishing the former Sears store and constructing a new mixed-use development with retail and dining options, luxury residential buildings totaling 380 units, an outdoor plaza and resort-style fitness concept.
Nate Weirbach, Director of Marketing & Business Development for Brea Mall commented on the investment: “The continued investment in our retail growth will elevate the overall shopping experience at Brea Mall. In May 2020 ,the City Council gave final approval to Simon’s project which joins other mixed use redevelopments of shopping malls across California and throughout America .
