**Sierra Trading Post to Open New Location in Lynnwood, WA**

Discount outdoor and activewear retailer Sierra Trading Post is set to open a 22,200-square-foot store in Lynnwood, Washington. The new location will be housed at Alderwood Plaza, occupying a space formerly held by Rite Aid.

This Lynnwood store will be the brand’s fourth location in Washington state. The site is part of a shopping center owned and managed by Merlone Geier Partners and home to several national retailers including Ross Dress for Less, HomeGoods, and Big 5 Sporting Goods.

Sierra Trading Post, a Massachusetts-based chain and member of the T.J. Maxx family, specializes in outdoor gear and apparel. The announcement of this new Lynnwood store comes shortly after the opening of their third Washington store in Federal Way’s Sunset Square earlier this month.

Rite Aid, the previous tenant of the space, filed for bankruptcy in 2023. As part of its restructuring, the company is seeking to sell off approximately 50 of its stores in the Puget Sound region.
