SHVO Completes 233,000 SF of Leasing at Transamerica Pyramid Center

SHVO has completed nine leasing transactions totaling 222,000 square feet at the iconic Transamerica Pyramid in San Francisco, along with three additional leases totaling 11,000 square feet at Two Transamerica over the past year. The identities of the tenants involved in these transactions have not been disclosed.

According to SHVO, the asking rents achieved in these deals ranged from $120 to $300 per square foot, exceeding market averages. With these transactions, Transamerica Pyramid now commands the highest office rents in San Francisco and ranks second nationally. The building is currently 85% leased.

Representing the Transamerica Pyramid Center during these leasing transactions were Chris Roeder, Matt Shewey, and Carlyle Parker of JLL.

“Since acquiring Transamerica Pyramid Center in 2020—at a time when many were questioning the future of San Francisco—we recognized an opportunity that others overlooked,” said Michael Shvo, Chairman and CEO of SHVO. “We saw the potential to honor the building’s legacy while reimagining its future, and over the past several years, that vision has come to life.”
