ShopOne Centers REIT, in partnership with Pantheon and aM institutional investor, has acquired Heritage Park Plaza located in East Longmeadow near Springfield, Massachusetts. The 117,337 square foot shopping center is anchored by Stop & Shop and boasts high occupancy with national retailers such as Petco, Panera Bread and Dollar Tree.
Chris Reed of ShopOne commented on the acquisition: “New England will continue to be a target market for us due to its significant barriers-to-entry for new development combined with demonstrated tenant success and established retail trade areas. We are very pleased to now have a presence in this region.” This marks the JV’s 12th grocery-anchored acquisition since March 2022 totaling an investment capacity exceeding $1 billion.
