A new development is headed for Richardson, Texas with the construction of The Points of Waterview on DART’s Silver Line. According to the Dallas Morning News, this project will feature up to 4,000 apartment units, 40,000 square feet of retail space and 500,000 square feet of office space as well as two hotels. University of Texas at Dallas and local developer Wolverine Interests are collaborating on this 36-acre parcel in Richardson.
The initial design includes seven buildings surrounding a large open area facing the DART station. 15 acres belong to Wolverine while UT Dallas owns property along the tract. Recently approved by Richardson’s planning and zoning commission unanimously , city council is expected to consider it in September . This development promises an exciting addition for residents near or commuting through this area!
