IKEA is renowned for its huge warehouses filled to the ceiling with home furnishings. In late 2023, the store plans to open a new concept in Southlake called Plan & Order point with Pick-up. This 11,000 square feet store will be dedicated to kitchen, bedroom and living room planning and customers can get advice from IKEA design specialists. Customers can order items online or pick up from the store; however products cannot be bought onsite. The location of this new concept is at 1041 E Southlake Blvd., Stes 100 and 110 in Park Village shopping center which joins two large-format stores already existing in Dallas-Fort Worth – Grand Prairie and Frisco locations respectively.
