Sequin Clothing Brand Adds New Manufacturer to Their Lineup

Seguin has recently been able to attract a number of businesses, with Premium Waters being the latest. The bottled water company has agreed to build a new $80 million manufacturing plant in Seguin, resulting in the creation of 60 full-time jobs at $60,000 each. Construction is expected to begin by the end of 2023 and operations are set for 2024.

Maruichi Stainless Tube Texas Corp., another business that will be joining Seguin’s economy soon, plans on constructing a 125,000-square-foot manufacturing facility worth an estimated $75 million which is projected to create more than 100 new jobs over two years. United Alloy Inc., yet another addition coming into town soon enough announced they plan on expanding their existing Sequin facility by nearly 110k square feet – almost doubling its size!

The city council and SEDC have entered into a Performance Agreement for an Economic Development Incentive worth up to $150k as part of this agreement between them and Premium Waters; it was approved by both parties involved earlier this year. With all these developments underway in Sequin it looks like there’s plenty more growth ahead!
