**Security Properties Acquires Henry Apartments in Seattle’s Queen Anne for $34.75 Million**
Security Properties, in partnership with RGA ReCap Incorporated, has acquired the Henry Apartments—a 100-unit multifamily community located in Seattle, Washington—for $34.75 million.
Originally built in 2017, Henry Apartments is situated in Seattle’s desirable Queen Anne neighborhood. The location offers residents convenient access to a variety of shopping, dining, and cultural attractions, as well as nearby outdoor recreational spaces. Daniel Diaz, Director at Security Properties, noted that “The Queen Anne neighborhood continues to benefit from renewed return-to-office momentum, particularly with major employers drawing talent back to the urban core.”
Security Properties points to a shift in workplace dynamics, including recent corporate policies like Amazon’s return-to-office initiative, as a key factor driving increased demand for residential options in proximity to employment hubs in downtown Seattle. In response, the company plans to launch a targeted renovation program aimed at enhancing the value and appeal of the property.
With the addition of the Henry Apartments, Security Properties now owns 29 properties totaling more than 6,500 apartment units in the Greater Seattle area, and approximately 25,000 units across the U.S. The property will be managed by Security Properties Residential, an affiliate of Security Properties.
