"Second Phase of $120M Mixed-Use Development Near Lenexa City Center"

A new $120 million mixed-use development near Lenexa City Center is moving forward with its second phase, now known as The Quarry. Developed by Vantage Point Properties Inc., the project will feature a 338-unit apartment complex and approximately 145,000 square feet of Class A office space across three buildings on a 32-acre site. The apartments are set to open in summer of 2025.

Cushman & Wakefield’s Marty Gilchrist, Suzanne Dimmel and Andrew Greene will handle office leasing for the project. Spangenberg Phillips Tice Architecture and Krehbiel Architecture have been selected as architects for the development. Originally planned without apartments, Vantage Point Properties made changes to their plans in 2022 which included adding residential units and reducing the amount of office space from an initial proposal of 315,000 square feet.

The latest update on this $120 million mixed-use project near Lenexa City Center comes from Wichita-based developer Vantage Point Properties Inc., who has renamed it “The Quarry.” According to reports by Kansas City Business Journal , this second phase includes construction plans for a total area spanning over thirty-two acres comprising three buildings – one featuring around one hundred forty-five thousand sq ft dedicated towards Class-A offices while another housing about three hundred thirty-eight apartment units slated to be ready by mid-summer twenty-twenty-five.

Vantage Point Properties Inc., based in Wichita, has announced that their $120 million mixed-use development near Lenexa City Center is progressing into its second phase under a new name: “The Quarry.” This expansive project spans over thirty-two acres and features three buildings – one with approximately one hundred forty-five thousand square feet designated for Class-A offices while another houses around three hundred thirty-eight apartment units expected to be completed by mid-summer twenty-twenty-five.

Accordingly reported by Kansas City Business Journal , Cushman & Wakefield’s Marty Gilchrist, Suzanne Dimmel and Andrew Greene will oversee office leasing for the development. Spangenberg Phillips Tice Architecture and Krehbiel Architecture have been selected as architects for the project. Vantage Point Properties initially planned to construct 315,000 square feet of office space but made changes in 2022 to include residential units in their plans.
