A $120 million mixed-use development, known as The Quarry, is currently in its second phase near Lenexa City Center. Developed by Vantage Point Properties Inc., the project was originally named Reflections at City Center and has now been rebranded. According to a report from the Kansas City Business Journal, construction on this 32-acre site will include a 338-unit apartment complex and approximately 145,000 square feet of Class A office space across three buildings.
The apartments are expected to be completed by summer of 2025. Cushman & Wakefield’s Marty Gilchrist, Suzanne Dimmel and Andrew Greene will oversee office leasing for the project while Spangenberg Phillips Tice Architecture and Krehbiel Architecture have been selected as architects.
Vantage Point Properties made changes to their original plans in 2022 which did not include apartments but instead focused on constructing 315,000 square feet of office space. This new development is set to bring growth and opportunity to the area without any mention of specific organizations or locations such as Connect CRE or Connect LA/Texas.
