According to Kirk Teske, Partner and Global Sector Director for Place at HKS, the demand for secure and sustainable architectural solutions is increasing as data reliance continues to grow in the global market. With Nakatani’s extensive experience in developing tech-focused design practices and managing service-delivery teams worldwide, he will play a crucial role in serving HKS’s diverse client portfolio.
In his new position at HKS, Nakatani will be responsible for driving the strategy of the Mission Critical practice while also overseeing systems development and maintenance processes. Additionally,HKS recently acquired AXO Architects based in Virginia – a specialized design firm known for their expertise in creating technically complex buildings that require seamless integration between architectural and engineering systems.
