**Seattle Children’s Joins TCC’s Life Sciences Development in South Lake Union**

Seattle Children’s Research Institute has signed a major lease at Trammell Crow Company’s (TCC) newest life sciences development located in the South Lake Union neighborhood of Seattle.

The healthcare and research organization will occupy 124,000 square feet at the newly delivered 11-story, 282,700-square-foot facility at 1916 Boren Avenue, situated in Seattle’s Denny Triangle area. The state-of-the-art facility is designed to support pediatric research and bolster Seattle’s position as a center for scientific innovation.

TCC partnered with Washington Capital Management on the project. Seattle Children’s was represented in the lease by Shelley Gill and Adam Brenneman of Hazelbrook Advisors, while Paul Carr of CBRE represented the landlord. Key project partners included architect of record Collins Woerman and general contractor Lease Crutcher Lewis.

“We’re very proud to finally be welcoming Seattle Children’s to 1916 Boren,” said Mike Nelson, Managing Director and Market Leader for TCC’s Seattle office. “We believe this project has set a new standard for life sciences infrastructure in our region, and we look forward to announcing more high-quality tenants soon.”

CBRE is leasing and marketing the remaining space in the building.
