**15-Story Hotel Project Near Seattle Monorail Moves Forward**

Plans for a new 15-story hotel at a prominent intersection near the Seattle Center Monorail have taken a significant step forward.

Da Li Properties LLC, the American subsidiary of Taiwanese real estate company DA LI Development Co. Ltd., has submitted a master-use permit application for a hotel project located at 508 Denny Way. The development will take shape on the site of the former Fat City Garage.

Designed by architecture firm Weber Thompson, the proposed hotel will feature up to 185 rooms, two restaurants, and a sky lounge. The project is poised to benefit from exemptions and an expedited review made available through Seattle Mayor Bruce Harrell’s Downtown Activation Plan—an initiative aimed at revitalizing the downtown area.

The site, which spans nearly one-third of an acre and lies beneath the Seattle Monorail route, was acquired by Da Li Properties for $9.1 million. The development marks one of the latest investments contributing to the transformation of Seattle’s core.
