The newly opened Ceasars Republic Scottsdale, a luxurious 11-story hotel with 265 rooms, is now welcoming guests. Located on the north side of Scottsdale’s Fashion Island, this hotel was built on leased land owned by Macerich, a prominent mall developer. According to reports from the Phoenix Business Journal, there are potential plans for further development at the mall in order to increase foot traffic. These discussions may include high-end residential and Class A office spaces.
During their Q4 2022 earnings call, Macerich announced that they are actively pursuing plans for multifamily residences and up to 500,000 square feet of Class A office space at Fashion Square. The company is also considering options for a mixed-use tower at Biltmore Fashion Park in Phoenix.
