Scholastic Inc., one of the world’s largest publishers and distributors of children’s books and educational materials, has signed a lease for 68,800 square feet at Tarragon’s Salmon Creek Corporate Park in Sumner, Washington. This brings overall occupancy in the park to 100%.
Tarragon is a leading real estate developer for Class A industrial, retail, office and multi-family projects throughout the Northwest region. The industrial building offers easy access to Highway 167 as well as both Port of Tacoma and Seattle. It also features a spacious truck court with 4,250 square feet of office space equipped with upgraded LED lighting.
Dane Dahlin from Kidder Mathews represented Scholastic Inc., while John Gilliland and John Sullivan from CBRE represented Salmon Creek Corporate Park during negotiations.
