Scannell Properties, a leading privately owned commercial real estate development firm with a global presence, has commenced construction on a $30 million warehouse and seed distribution facility in Anderson, Ohio. The project will cater to the industrial, office and multifamily markets through build-to-suit and speculative projects.
Located at 4210 W. 67th Street, this state-of-the-art facility spans over 300,000 square feet and is specifically designed for Corteva Agriscience’s seed storage needs. The company has signed a long-term lease agreement for the space which will serve customers in Indiana and southern Ohio.
According to city officials of Anderson who made an official statement regarding this development – “This new venture is expected to generate over 40 employment opportunities within the local community while also contributing towards diversifying its economy. Additionally,it is estimated that it will bring in approximately $4.3 million in tax revenue over the next decade.”
