Atlas Real Estate Partners has acquired Latitude at Godley Station Apartments, a 256-unit Class A multifamily community built in 2015 located in Pooler, near Savannah. Co-Managing Partner Arvind Chary expressed excitement for the acquisition and noted that it perfectly fits Atlas’ investment strategy of acquiring high-quality apartment communities at a discount to replacement cost with potential for repositioning to create additional value. To capitalize on this opportunity, Atlas intends to renovate units and upgrade existing amenities while adding new features such as a dog park and dog wash, pickleball court, onsite coworking space, poolside grill and firepit area as well as café/coffee bar. Joe Stampone of Atlas also believes there is an unmet demand for modern apartments targeting the growing young professional segment in the market due to rapid growth upscaling of Pooler.
