Adolfson & Peterson Construction has successfully completed the multifamily adaptive reuse project at Downtown Dallas’ iconic 50-story Santander Tower. The project, known as Peridot Residences, was a collaboration between Mintwood Real Estate and Pacific Elm Properties to transform 14 floors of former office space into 291 modern multifamily units.
Construction on the project began in Summer of 2022 and has now reached its first phase completion. This phase offers a variety of one- and two-bedroom units designed for contemporary living. Residents can enjoy numerous amenities including a swimming pool, dog park, fitness room, pickleball courts, and Pilates studio.
Located at 1601 Elm St., Santander Tower is situated in the heart of Dallas’ historic Main Street District. Pacific Elm Properties invested over $40 million to update all building systems and refurbish common areas such as the lobby and plaza. Working with Mintwood Real Estate, they have created an impressive vertical mixed-use development that includes on-site dining options along with a boutique hotel.
The design for this revitalization was done by WDG Architecture based out of Dallas.
