Santa Fe Film Studio Village Launch

The film industry is no longer solely dominated by Hollywood. Florida and Texas have already begun or are planning to begin multimillion-dollar projects, while a Santa Fe-based real estate development company, PE Real Estate Holdings (“PERE”), has received preliminary approval from the City of Santa Fe to develop Northern New Mexico’s largest film studio in the emerging “Midtown District.” The new campus will be known as Aspect Studios.

PERE plans to acquire and revitalize an abandoned art school campus into a vibrant mixed-use “Studio Village.” Spanning 20 acres, this will become the largest studio in northern New Mexico with 8 soundstages (including two of the region’s largest,) over 350,000 square feet of production and support space spread across five buildings. Additionally, there will be retail, residential and hospitality components integrated within this project.
