### Santa Ana Site to be the Spotlight of NAIOP SoCal OC Real Estate Challenge

The 4th Annual NAIOP SoCal Orange County Real Estate Challenge will take place on Thursday, April 17, bringing together graduate student teams from Chapman University’s Argyros College of Business & Economics and the University of California, Irvine’s Paul Merage School of Business Center for Real Estate. The teams will compete for the prestigious Orange Cup.

Each five-member team will go head-to-head in a real estate challenge, aiming to determine the highest and best use for a 37-acre site that includes the redevelopment of the Santa Ana Civic Center and Santa Ana Stadium. The winning team will be decided based on the total points accumulated through both written and oral presentations. The City of Santa Ana is serving as the project site sponsor for this year’s competition.

“This year’s site offers a thought-provoking challenge for the students due to its breadth and complexity,” said David Salisbury, Co-Chair of the NAIOP SoCal OC Real Estate Challenge. “Once again, this competition will be an excellent showcase for the student teams as they strategize and present their development proposals.”
