San Antonio Spurs Practice Facility to Anchor Mixed-Use Campus Development

Basketball teams no longer need to practice in dingy, cold gyms. For those players who are at the top of their game, San Antonio Spurs have taken it up a notch by introducing The Victory Capital Performance Center. Spanning more than 130,000 square feet and anchoring a $500 million mixed-use campus near Six Flags Fiesta called The Rock at La Cantera, this center is set to revolutionize the way athletes train and perform.

The facility will include features such as motion capture shooting lab and environmental training room; hydrotherapy pools; sensory deprivation tank; performance kitchen among others. Joeris General Contractors began construction on the performance center in January 2022 with completion slated for August ahead of 2023-2024 NBA season start date.

In addition to housing state-of-the art facilities for basketball teams’ use only, The Rock at La Cantera is expected to include restaurant space; residential units; medical space along with entertainment components and public spaces – all contributing towards creating an exciting atmosphere for visitors alike!
