San Antonio Investor Buys Two Retail Centers Locally

Headwall Investments has acquired two Class A neighborhood retail centers in Austin and San Antonio. The Town & Country Shopping Center at 10350 Bandera Road and De Zavala Oaks at 5860/5886 DeZavala Road were purchased using a fund that targets similar retail properties.

The San Antonio Business Journal reported the 2023 valuations of Town & Country and De Zavala Oaks to be approximately $12.7 million and $8 million, respectively, though terms of the deals remain undisclosed.

Headwall is now preparing to raise their first round of $20 million within 30 days for scaling investment plans into Dallas-Fort Worth as well as Houston markets with an eventual goal of raising up to $100 million total due to supply-demand imbalances affecting retail markets globally.
