**Methodist Hospital Northeast Announces $146 Million Expansion Project**

Methodist Hospital Northeast in Live Oak has unveiled new details about its ambitious $146 million expansion. The project will add 150,000 square feet to the existing facility and includes the construction of a new three-story patient tower that will seamlessly integrate with the current hospital structure across all levels.

Key improvements include the elimination of double-occupancy rooms, with overall bed capacity increasing from 237 to 295. The completion of this latest construction phase is projected for 2026.

In addition to the new tower, the expansion will significantly upgrade support services such as laboratory facilities, radiology, supply management, and the cafeteria. The newly constructed tower has been designed with future growth in mind and can support the addition of up to three more floors.

This investment reflects a commitment to meeting the growing healthcare needs of the community and enhancing the overall patient experience.
