RXR, the master planner of Veridea, a sprawling 1,100-acre mixed-use development in Apex, North Carolina has announced that Samet Corporation will oversee construction for the project. With their expertise in pre-construction and construction management services, Samet will spearhead Phase I of the project set to begin in early 2024. This initial phase is expected to include approximately 500 multifamily units along with over 1,100 single-family and townhomes as well as more than 100,000 square feet of retail space.
Conveniently located just two miles south of historic downtown Apex , Veridea’s first phase will kick off with new roadways and infrastructure before breaking ground on multifamily units later that year.
Upon completion , this expansive mixed-use development is projected to feature up to an impressive total of8 ,000 residential units along with3 .5 million square feet dedicated towards retail outlets,hospitality establishments,and civic spaces.Additionally,it plans on including a whopping12 million square feet designated for commercial use while also housing Wake Technical Community College within its vast340 ,000-square-foot campus.
The announcement comes after RXR’s decision not only reflects their confidence but also highlights their commitment towards ensuring success for this ambitious venture.
