Salesforce Tower Chicago: Debut and $1.25M in Grants Committed by Company

Salesforce Inc. has officially opened its new office building, Salesforce Tower Chicago, in downtown Chicago today. The 60-story tower spans over 1.2 million square feet and is located at 333 W. Wolf Point Plaza. As the anchor tenant, the San Francisco-based software company occupies a total of 360,000 square feet.

This impressive new addition to the city’s skyline marks the third phase of development for Wolf Point and includes two residential high-rise buildings developed by Houston-based Hines: Wolf Point East with 700 apartments and Wolf Point West with an additional 500 apartments.

In conjunction with its grand opening celebration, Salesforce also announced $1.25 million in grants to support various communities in Illinois and Chicago specifically through organizations such as CASEL – a nonprofit focused on integrating social-emotional learning into education – and Peer Health Exchange – a nonprofit providing mental health education workshops for middle schoolers.

The top two floors of Salesforce Tower Chicago have been designated as ‘Ohana Floors’, serving as spaces for employees to utilize during work hours while also being available for local nonprofits to host fundraising events outside business hours. These ‘Ohana Floors’ have collectively raised over $108 million globally thus far towards supporting local communities around the world.
