"Sale of R&D Campus in Sunnyvale Facilitated by Newmark"

Newmark facilitated the sale of Mathilda Tech Park, a 105,000-square-foot technology research and development campus in Sunnyvale’s Silicon Valley. The property was fully leased to a prominent American multinational technology company with a strong presence in the Bay Area. The transaction amount remains undisclosed.

The deal was spearheaded by Newmark’s Executive Vice Chairman and President of Western Region Capital Markets Steven Golubchik, along with Executive Vice Chairman Ramsey Daya, Vice Chairman Edmund Najera, Executive Managing Director Chris Moritz, Managing Director Darren Hollak and Associate Directors Francesca Zappula and Brendan Raney. They represented both Clarion Partners (the seller) and Ellis Partners (the buyer).

According to Najera: “The marketing process for Mathilda Tech Park attracted numerous interested buyers from various capital sources resulting in an efficient execution for our client.” He also noted that investors are increasingly confident about leasing markets and are eager to establish themselves in Sunnyvale.
