"Sale of Charlotte Office Complex for $328.5M"

Cousins Properties recently acquired Vantage South End, an expansive office complex in Charlotte spanning 639,000 square feet. The property was sold by Invesco Real Estate and The Spectrum Cos.

The two-building campus was completed in 2021 and 2022 with Rodgers Buildings as the general contractor and LS3P Associates as the design firm. Originally, plans for the property also included a boutique hotel with 200 rooms across eleven stories.

Vantage South End boasts numerous amenities including retail space totaling 45,000 square feet, a one-acre park area, eighteen outdoor terraces, multiple fitness centers and conference facilities,and various on-site dining options.

According to Commercial Edge data,the office complex is currently leased at an impressive rate of97.4 percent with an average lease term of over nine years.Tenants include prominent companies such as CBRE,LendingTree,Aliston & Bird,and Hartford Insurance.

Located at1415 Vantage Park Driveand1120 S.Tryon St.,the site previously served as Centene’s headquarters before being transformed into this thriving office complex.
