BYB Prop Real Estate Partners, a local investment group, has recently acquired South Baltimore’s Yacht Basin Marina. Their plans include a complete transformation of the property. The purchase was made possible through the collaboration of several development teams: MAG Partners and MacFarlane Partners leading the Baltimore Peninsula project, in partnership with Sagamore Ventures and Goldman Sachs Asset Management’s Urban Investment Group.
Marcellous Butler, Principal of BYB Prop Real Estate Partners and co-founder of floating-home provider Flohom, spearheaded this acquisition. The reimagined marina will feature approximately 150 slips and will serve as home to various Flohom vessels for both short-term and long-term residential or commercial purposes. In addition to this exciting addition to their portfolio, future plans also include additional offerings that aim to enhance waterfront activities for an unparalleled experience at what is set out to be a “best in class” marina destination.
