Global One Investments, an affiliate of Nelson Management Group, has appointed Saad Saghir as Head of Acquisitions. In his new role, Saghir will be responsible for overseeing the acquisition and asset management activities of Global One.
Saghir’s duties include sourcing investment opportunities, underwriting them and closing deals as well as implementing asset management strategies for the existing portfolio. “The market favors those who are operationally intensive with a niche investment focus like us,” said Saghir. “We have been building out our infrastructure to capitalize on these opportunities across the capital stack.”
With nearly six years’ experience at Global One under his belt, Saghir has contributed to its growth in affordable housing and workforce housing sectors significantly. Before joining Global One he held various real estate investment roles including Macquarie Capital where he provided services to real estate clients exclusively .
