S2 Capital has expanded into Colorado with the recent purchase of Dartmouth Woods, a garden-style apartment complex located at 10025 W. Dartmouth Ave. The multifamily investment group paid $52 million for the 201-unit community built in 1990.
According to reports from The Business Journal, this is not the first time that Dartmouth Woods has changed hands. In fact, it was last sold in 2016 for nearly $14.2 million.
Under S2 Capital’s ownership, renovations will be made to both the interiors and exteriors of the buildings as well as upgrades to amenities offered to residents. These updates include stainless steel appliances, new flooring, modern lighting and updated cabinetry.
The community is conveniently located near Bear Creek High School and Bear Creek Lake Park and offers one- and two-bedroom floorplans ranging from 700 to 1,085 square feet with rent prices between $1
