RREEF Acquires Castle Pines Property for $101M

Citadel at Castle Pines, a 214-unit multifamily property located in Castle Pines, has been sold by Thompson Thrift to RREEF Property Trust for $101 million. The sale was brokered by Matt Barnett, Jake Young and Taylor Payne of Walker & Dunlop.

The property was completed in December and had previously taken out a $57.7 million construction loan from Bank of America in 2021. This loan was set to expire next month.

Situated on 20 acres, the Class A community features paired villa-style homes and three-story townhomes ranging from 712 to 2,145 square feet. Some units also include private balconies or patios.

Residents can enjoy various amenities such as a residential social lounge, pickleball courts, fitness center, swimming pool with cabanas and spa facilities. There is also a dog park with an accompanying dog spa as well as other conveniences like a business center and fire pits. The property offers approximately 315 parking spaces for residents’ use.
