The arrival of an H-E-B grocery store in a town generates a lot of excitement. While it may not be the same, renovating existing stores is the next best thing.
In 2025, residents of Round Rock can look forward to a major renovation at their local H-E-B store. Located near Greenlawn Boulevard and Louis Henna Boulevard in southeast Round Rock, this project will cost over $13.3 million.
According to project information, construction is set to begin in February and expected to be completed by November 2025. The main focus of the renovation includes:
– Demolition and redesigning of the main entrance exterior
– Remodeling restrooms, pharmacy area and store floor
– Replacement of coolers and freezers in both the main grocery area and curbside pickup section
Renovations are scheduled for early 2025 at this particular location among more than 380 other H-E-B stores across Texas and Mexico. The company also operates under La Tienda brand as well as Joe V’s Smart Shop locations.
