Rollout of EV Charging Stations in Inland Empire & Orange County by Rove

Rove, a developer of full-service electric vehicle (EV) charging centers, plans to build six locations in Southern California starting in 2023. With a longer-term goal of 20 locations by 2026, the first facilities will be located in Corona (Riverside County), Santa Ana and Costa Mesa (Orange County). Each Rove location will feature 40 ultra-fast direct current fast chargers capable of reaching speeds up to 350 kW – making it possible for EVs to reach full charge within 15 minutes. Onsite amenities include an all natural/organic market with meals and grocery options; car wash; restrooms; free Wi-Fi access; lounge area and patio.

CEO Nathan McDonnell commented on the project: “Fast. Safe. Reliable – these are all things EV charging should be but isn’t yet… Our goal is to raise the bar by providing fast charging capabilities along with clean amenities & onsite support.”
