Rockpoint and Post Road Residential have recently announced the successful sale of The Burrow at Green District, a luxurious multifamily community consisting of 235 units located in Marlborough, Massachusetts. This property boasts an array of studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments equipped with top-of-the-line amenities such as a co-working space, rooftop dining area, swimming pool, fitness club, podcasting studio and electric vehicle charging stations.
The acquisition of this site by Rockpoint and Post Road Residential took place in 2020 followed by construction that began in 2021. The project was completed in 2023. In addition to this development project at Green Districts,the two companies are also collaborating on another multifamily development located in Lynn,Massachusetts.However,the financial details regarding the transaction were not disclosed.
According to Fred Borges,senior managing director at Rockpoint,”When we acquired Green District with Post Road Residential backin 2020,it presented us with an opportunity to fulfill the growing demand for high-quality rental properties within a desirable market that has limited new supply.”
