“Rockefeller Group Invests in N. Phoenix with New Distribution Center”

Rockefeller Group has acquired a 25-acre parcel on Sweetwater Avenue in Surprise, AZ for $12 million to develop the 415,000-square-foot speculative distribution center known as Surprise Pointe Commerce Center. Located only 10 minutes away from Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing (TSMC) plant in North Phoenix, this project is designed to accommodate one to four tenants with 36 feet of clear height and 83 dock doors. It also features a 185’ truck yard with 103 truck trailer parking stalls and 466 auto-parking stalls along with custom office space.

Surprise Pointe Commerce Center is situated within the Southwest Valley industrial submarket which has been attracting many businesses due its diversified economy and good employment base. Marc Berg of Rockefeller Group commented that “People are flocking to Surprise and the surrounding areas making it an ideal location for businesses adding jobs” With TSMC’s presence driving economic development in North Phoenix, Rockefeller Group’s acquisition will surely benefit from such growth opportunities while providing more job opportunities at the same time.
