**Rockbridge Sells Downtown Winston-Salem Marriott for Over $56 Million**

Rockbridge has sold the downtown Winston-Salem Marriott, located at 425 Cherry Street and attached to the Benton Convention Center, for more than $56 million. The hospitality investment firm originally purchased the property in 2022 for $49.5 million. The 17-story hotel, built in 1986 and renovated in 2000, features 319 rooms and encompasses nearly 220,000 square feet on a 2.1-acre site.

The Winston-Salem Marriott, a key hotel in the area due to its connection with the convention center, is managed by Hospitality Ventures Management Group (HVMG). In addition to overseeing the hotel’s operations, HVMG also manages the Benton Convention Center and the on-site Butcher & Bull restaurant.

HVMG is a nationally recognized hospitality management company, operating hotels and restaurants under several major brands including Hilton, Hyatt, Hard Rock Hotel, Marriott, and IHG. Their portfolio in North Carolina also includes the Marriott Greensboro-High Point Airport.
