Robert Shipley has joined Kidder Mathews as the new senior vice president and market leader for Asset Services in Bellevue. In this role, he will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the firm’s portfolio in Seattle’s Eastside submarket. This includes tasks such as business development, client relations, risk management, and leading property teams to deliver top-notch service.
With over 20 years of experience in commercial property management under his belt, Shipley brings a wealth of knowledge to his new position. Prior to joining Kidder Mathews, he managed a diverse portfolio that included industrial buildings, office spaces retail properties,and medical facilities.
Before that,Richard founded Brightstreet Development and held important roles at SMARTCAP Inc.and Coast Property Management.In these positions,his responsibilities included leading ground-up development projects valued at $137 million and managing assets worth $600 million.He also has extensive experience negotiating leases totaling over $360 million on behalf of institutional,private,and governmental clients.
