**Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne Unveils $100 Million Transformation Plan**

The Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne, Miami, is embarking on a major $100 million transformation to coincide with its 25th anniversary. The luxury resort, owned by Gencom, is set to reopen in December 2025 following the completion of this extensive renovation project.

Situated at 455 Grand Bay Drive, the 275,000-square-foot resort sits on 17 acres of prime beachfront on the barrier island of Key Biscayne. The 13-story, 420-room property boasts 600 feet of beachfront access and is undergoing its first full-scale renovation since opening.

The team leading the transformation includes design architect Hart Howerton, along with Design Agency and Chapi Chapo Design. In addition to updates to the exterior and guest rooms, the resort will debut a new signature restaurant.

Renovations will enhance amenities across the board, including upgraded swimming pools, a modernized fitness center, and enhancements to the Club Lounge. Improvements are also planned for the renowned Cliff Drysdale Tennis Center, which remains the largest tennis facility across all Ritz-Carlton resorts.

For business and event travelers, the resort offers 37,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space, which will also see thoughtful updates as part of the overhaul.

With these upgrades, The Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne aims to redefine luxury hospitality in South Florida while honoring its legacy as one of Miami’s most iconic resorts.
