**Ridgeline and Deep Cove Break Ground on The Bend at Capitol District in Nashville**
Ridgeline Development Partners and Deep Cove Partners have announced the groundbreaking of The Bend at Capitol District, a two-building mixed-use development near downtown Nashville and the state capitol. The name “The Bend” references the nearby bend in the highway and river, anchoring the project in the local geography and history.
The development will feature an eight-story Moxy hotel and a ten-story residential building. The residential component includes The Delle at The Bend, comprised of 128 fully furnished apartments offered through Marriott Bonvoy, and The Residences at The Bend, offering 133 market-rate rental apartments.
In addition to the hotel and residences, the project will incorporate 17,000 square feet of retail space, housed within a pedestrian paseo connecting the two primary structures.
Located at 450 James Robertson Parkway, The Bend is adjacent to the TownePlace Suites by Marriott, which the development partnership opened in 2020.
Project design is being led by Smith Gee Studio and S9 Architecture, with Skanska USA serving as the general contractor.
