Alterra IOS has recently acquired a 2.8-acre site in Ashland, Virginia, located at 11144 Progress Road. This prime location offers convenient access to downtown Richmond and the Richmond International Airport via Route 1 and I-95.
The acquisition of this outdoor storage property was facilitated by Jimmy Martin of Colliers on behalf of Alterra. The property is situated within the Hanover Air Park and features a spacious warehouse with two drive-in doors and one dock door, totaling 9,700 square feet. The site is also fenced for added security measures and will be renovated before being leased out.
In addition to this recent acquisition in Virginia, Alterra IOS has also made moves in other states across the U.S., including purchasing a 5-acre site in Southwest Philadelphia for $5.75 million through a joint venture with Eco Materials. This project includes plans to build a soil recycling facility at the purchased property located at6110 Passyunk Ave., with an estimated total cost of $40 million.
