RHD Enterprise, a construction company based in Tumwater, has announced the appointment of industry veteran Kris Beason as its new CEO. Beason will be taking over from founder Rozanne Garman, who will continue to serve as president of the firm that employs approximately 40 individuals. RHD is a women and minority-owned business that specializes in commercial and industrial projects.
Garman’s vision for an inclusive company where women and people of color can thrive has been at the core of RHD since its inception. In her statement on behalf of the company, she shared how they have become a magnet for highly skilled individuals who have hit career ceilings at other construction firms.
As part of their expansion plans into new geographical areas, RHD Enterprises is set to open an office in Redmond, Washington. This move marks the next phase for the firm as it aims to enhance its capabilities within private sector contracting – which is increasingly seeking diversity.
