"Revitalized: Century-Old Charlotte Mill Transformed into Mixed-Use Project"

A historic textile mill in Charlotte has undergone a $70 million renovation and is now available for tenants. The Savona Mill, managed by Portman Holdings, offers 180,000 square feet of office space, 20,000 square feet of retail on the ground floor, multiple open-air patios and a rooftop deck perfect for music events and community gatherings.

The redevelopment project began in February 2022 and features exposed brick walls, hardwood floors, and fresh paint on the ceilings. Floor-to-ceiling columns add to the industrial charm while large windows provide ample natural light.

According to reports from the Charlotte Business Journal ,the ground floor will primarily house food-and-beverage retailers while office users can lease one or more of the three floors with spacious floor plates ranging from 50-000-square-feet each. This mixed-use project breathes new life into this century-old mill without compromising its historical significance.
